Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy (ABA)
Your child will work with a therapist one-on-one to help them understand how your child learns, interacts and plays in different environments. The therapist will help them improve their skills by simulating real-life situations.
Occupational Therapy
The ultimate goal for any parent is for their child to be able to live independently. Occupational therapy allows your child to practice and improve everyday skills that will allow them to participate in a wide range of activities. It will also help your child manage sensory issues.
Speech Therapy
Speech therapy specifically helps your child work through communication challenges by focusing on social communication, verbal or nonverbal.
Nutrition Therapy
Nutrition plays a large role in development in the early stages of life. We will work to provide food and family support through lunches or grants through affiliated organizations.
Physical Therapy
At times, children with ASD might struggle with certain movements and can experience lowered moods as a result. Physical therapists will work with your child to develop correct posture, motor skills, strength, balance and coordination.
Elementary School Education
We develop flexible therapy and teaching models for elementary-age children based off of our own ASD special needs curriculum, providing your child the support, tools and confidence they need to be successful in life. Our eventual goal is to expand our education program to upper grades.
Community
You’re not in this alone. Our community can connect you with other families on the same journey, get you involved in events and volunteer opportunities and can help you make a difference in the ASD community.
Family advocacy
A child being diagnosed with ASD is a life-altering experience. It can feel scary to navigate without support. EDC can provide guidance and resources to improve your child’s quality of life from childhood to adulthood and beyond.
